The editorial lens
A useful explanation separates the object, the claim and the evidence. We write for readers who want the vocabulary to question a document without needing a product ranking.
Evidence handling
Use the term to ask a more precise question of the document. Identify who is speaking, which object is being described and what observation would be needed to go further. A clearer definition should reduce ambiguity without pretending to resolve the underlying facts.
Testing status
This launch edition contains documentation analysis rather than physical device tests. It does not present invented measurements, product ratings or simulated reader reviews. If an article relies on a first-party statement, the speaker remains visible. Unresolved facts are not filled from similar-looking products.
Updating a file
Publication, source and revision dates have separate roles. A material correction should identify the affected statement and the supporting record. Cosmetic changes do not create new evidence. The corrections page describes our current publication process.
